Three elders signed the letter on 2 September 2016. It ran to three pages. It named a staff member, described two incidents reported to them by parents, and asked the senior pastor to bring the matter to the full board and to the police.

The staff member was convicted in 2022 on charges arising from conduct that began, according to the sentencing record, in 2015.
